Glimpses of our Hospital Stay

We were in the hospital for two days after my birth. Me and mommy both had our own nurses. Every afternoon and at bedtime we will see a new face come and greet us 'I will be your nurse till morning', ' I will be your baby's nurse till afternoon'!

We were infact very busy during day time when my pediatrician, mom's o/b, lactation consultant, friends and family, all would come and visit us.

Thanks to them for taking good care of me and mommy :-)

I was enjoying seeing a new face everytime, often they will take me to the nursery to check my vitals and perform routine checks. But mommy would tell them to bring me back soon after.

The only time I would spend in the nursery was a few hours at night time, that's when mom/dad would let the nurse take care of me while they caught up on their sleep! ah.... I would make sure they enjoy sleepless nights once we are back home.... wait n see...

shhh.... Behind the scenes - Daddy, with the help of friends and my grandparents was putting final touches to the decorations @ home. Oh! I cudn't wait to see it all.

Mommy and Daddy had bags packed and got to the hospital- anxious, nervous, excited.

How soon were we

to meet, they did not know.

Perhaps their only goal was mommy's pain management :-)

Time for some serious work. Yipee! I was 7.2 lbs and 19 inches long.

Dresses, dolls, hair in curls,

Guess what...it's a Girl!

We are pleased to announce the arrival of our Little Angel Suhaani. Born on 22nd September, she weighed 7.2 lbs and was 19 inches long.

Mom, Dad and Suhaani are very excited and doing well.
